2. One major composition or set of pieces from Romantic or Post-Romantic period.

Category B

1.One fast movement from a Sonata or Variations by J. Haydn, W.A. Mozart, L. van Beethoven, F. Schubert, C.M. Weber, or a composition of comparable difficulty.

2.One major composition, set of pieces or one movement.

 

String

Category A

1. One fast movement of a Concerto or one virtuoso piece.

2. Two contrasting movements of unaccompanied works by J.S.Bach

Category B

1. One fast movement of a Concerto or one virtuoso piece.

2. Two contrasting movements of unaccompanied works by J.S.Bach

Winds/Brass

Category A/B

1 Fast movement from a major concerto

2. One contrasting piece such as a movement from a sonata or solo work.

 

Voice

Category A

3 works need to be prepared with at least two languages.

  1. One Aria

  2. One Art song

  3. Free choice of the candidate from any genre.
