In Ae Lee

Korean violinist In Ae Lee began playing the violin at the age of five. In Ae is a prizewinner of the Haydn International Competition, CBS Broadcast Music Competition, International Music Competition by Music Association of Korea, Seoul City Venusto National Music Competition, and Concerto Competition at Southern Methodist University in Dallas, TX.
As a passionate ensemble player, In Ae took part in numerous summer festivals such as the Verbier Music Festival, Sejong Soloists “Hic et Nunc” Festival, Norfolk Chamber Music Festival, Manchester Music Festival, Innsbrook Institute Summer Music Festival, as well as collaborated chamber concerts with distinguished artists such as Andres Diaz, Chee Yun Kim, Matt Albert, Iggy Jang, Parry Karp, and Escher Quartet.
Ms. Lee also started to build her teaching career in 2014. She is experienced with students in beginner to professional stage and also taught Yale College Students from 2020 – 2023. Ms. Lee is currently a Doctor of Musical Arts candidate at Stony Brook University on a full scholarship. She received her Bachelor’s degree at The Juilliard School as a recipient of the Jerome L. Greene Fellowship and received her Master’s and MMA (Master of Musical Arts) degree at Yale School of Music. Her primary teachers include Hyo Kang, Chee Yun Kim, Hagai Shaham, Jennifer Frautschi, Philip Setzer, and Tai Murray.
