Dr. Eungyu Seo

Eungyu Seo, soprano, is currently a voice faculty member at Long Island Conservatory in New York. She is teaching Voice and German Diction. She studied at Yonsei University in Korea where she received a Bachelor of Music. She graduated with both Distinction in Performance and Academic Honor. She attended the Juilliard School and the State University of New York at Stony Brook where she
obtained her Master of Music degree and Doctor of Musical Arts degree respectively. She has made many solo recitals and performance appearances in both the art songs and operas in Korea and the U.S. She sang Marênka in “Bartered Bride,” Mimi in “La Bohème,” Despina in “Così fan tutte,” Mother in “Amahl and Night visitors,” Sandman in “Hansel and Gretel,” and Countess in “Le Nozze di Figaro.”
