Andrew is a professional musician and educator from Orange County, California. A seasoned brass player, Andrew teaches both trumpet and trombone. He started playing the trumpet at the age of 14 and has been pursuing a career with the instrument ever since. Andrew received his Bachelor’s in Music Performance from California State University Fullerton and his Master’s in Music Performance from The Boston Conservatory at Berklee. He is currently in his second year of his Doctorate in Music at Stony Brook University. He has performed with The Silk Road Ensemble, Time For Three, and Randy Jackson; many musicals for local theater companies such as Cabaret, A Wonderful Town, Music Man and Beauty and the Beast; and with orchestras such as the Temecula Valley Symphony, Southland Symphony, and Synesthesia Sinfonietta. Andrew is excited to join the LISM faculty where he will teach all levels of trumpet and trombone.
