Armine Vardanyan
Ms. Armine Vardanyan matriculated from the Melikian Music College in Yerevan, Armenia and subsequently graduated from the Yerevan State Conservatory with a Masters Degree in Piano Performance. Among the professional courses she pursued at the Conservatory, Ms. Vardanyan excelled in theater, singing and conducting chamber choir, the latter becoming her second career. After receiving Post Graduate Diploma and PhD in performance, Ms. Vardanyan joined the faculty of Yerevan State Conservatory.
Ms. Vardanyan's professional performances, apart from extensive recordings, include touring throughout the former Soviet Union, Hungary, Cuba and Yugoslavia. In the United States, she has performed at Merkin Hall, Carnegie Hall, Weill Recital Hall, Alice Tully Hall, Pickman Hall in Cambridge, MA, the Grammy Award Ceremony Honoring Mstislav Rostropovich, and Inaugural Ball in Washington DC. She has performed as a soloist with the Armenian State Philharmonic Orchestra. Ms. Vardanyan had many Broadcasts in the National TV of Armenia, as well as in the United States, PBS, FOX 5, NY 1, and French TF 1. She is the recipient of many awards and recognitions.Currently,
Currently, Ms. Vardanyan is a Professor at the Long Island Conservatory of Music (LICM) and a Music Director and Conductor of "Shnorhali" Choir at the Armenian Church of The Holy Martyrs.
Ms. Vardanyan has been a judge at the International Competition of the LISMA Foundation, Member of the Artistic Advisory Committee of the Armenian Youth Talent Competition and has held master classes in numerous international music festivals.
