Gvantsa Butskhrikidze (b. 2002, Kutaisi, Georgia) is an internationally recognized violinist, educator, and founder of the MAMMA International Music Competition. She began playing the violin at the age of seven and gave her first solo recitals with orchestras in Georgia at age ten. She has also performed as a member of the Boston Philharmonic Youth Orchestra, gaining extensive orchestral experience.
Gvantsa is the First Prize winner of numerous international competitions, including the Chicago International Music Competition, the American International Music Competition, and the New York International Music Competition. She has performed at esteemed venues such as Carnegie Hall and currently serves as a soloist with Orchestra Manhattan.
In 2025, she founded the MAMMA International Music Competition, a platform dedicated to supporting and showcasing young musicians worldwide. As an educator, Gvantsa is committed to mentoring the next generation of violinists, combining her extensive performance experience with a passion for guiding students in developing both technical skill and artistic expression.
